Google Certification Exam

 IT અને Business ક્ષેત્રોમાં સ્કિલ બેઝડ સિલેક્શનનું ચલણ વધી રહ્યું છે ત્યારે શિક્ષણમાં પણ કૌશલ્યને પ્રાથમિકતા આપવાનો સમય આવી ગયો છે. ગુગલ એજ્યુકેશન દ્વારા વર્ગખંડમાં શિક્ષકની ગુગલ ટુલ્સનો ઉપયોગ કરવાની ક્ષમતા અને અને કૌશલ્યને તપાસવા માટે Google Certification Exam Level 1 અને level 2 એમ બે સ્તરે લેવામાં આવે છે અને તેમાં સફળ થનાર શિક્ષકને 'Google Certified Educator તરીકેનું પ્રમાણપત્ર આપવામાં આવે છે. તો ચાલો થોડું વિગતે જોઈએ આ પરીક્ષાનું સ્વરૂપ કેવું હોય છે.

પરીક્ષાનું સ્વરૂપ

Google Certified Educator Level-1

* માધ્યમ-English

ફી- 10 ડોલર + 1.8 ડોલર જેટલો ટેક્સ ચાર્જ

* કુલ પ્રશ્નો- 35

(પ્રશ્નો Google ની વિશાળ પ્રશ્નબેન્કમાંથી આવતા હોય છે)

* સમય - 3 કલાક

* Open બુક પ્રકારની પરીક્ષા જેમાં ડિવાઇસનો ઉપયોગ કરી શકાય.

* કમ્પ્યુટર/મોબાઈલ અને વેબકેમ હોવો ફરજીયાત

* પરીક્ષામાં પાસ થવા માટે 80% પ્રશ્નોના જવાબ સાચા આપવા જરૂરી. જે નિષ્ફળ જાય તે ફરી ફી ભરી પરીક્ષા આપી શકે

* પાસ થવા પર મળતા સર્ટિફિકેટને 3 વર્ષ પૂરતું માન્ય ગણવામાં આવે છે. 

અભ્યાસક્રમના મુદ્દા- Forms, Sheets, Slides, Docs, Classroom, Youtube, Gmail, Calender, Drive, Google Sites, Digtal Security and Citizenshinship, Digital book વગેરે 

Level -1 ફંડામેન્ટલ સ્કિલ્સ આધારિત પરીક્ષા છે મતલબ તમને આ ટુલ્સનો પરિચય હોય અને તમે તેનો નિયમિત ઉપયોગ કરતા હોવ તો તેના આધારે તમે આ પ્રશ્નોના જવાબ આપી શકો. પ્રશ્ન સ્વરૂપ MCQ પ્રકારનું હોવા છતાં આ પ્રશ્નો માત્ર જ્ઞાન જ નહિ પણ ટુલ્સની સ્કિલ અને ઉપયોગ પર ભાર આપતાં હોય છે. ક્યારેક કોઈક શૈક્ષણિક પરિસ્થિતિ રજુ કરવામાં આવે અને એમાં તમે ક્યાં ટૂલનો કેવી રીતે ઉપયોગ કરશો એવુ પણ પૂછવામાં આવે. ટૂંકમાં આ કસોટી માત્ર ગુગલ ટૂલ્સના વાંચન આધારિત નહી પરંતુ તેના ઉપયોગ આધારિત વધુ હોય છે.

લિંક પર ક્લિક કરી તેમાં gmail id થી રજીસ્ટર થઈ ઑનલાઈન પેમેન્ટ કરવાનું રહે ત્યાર બાદ google માં તમારું exam એકાઉન્ટ બને જેની લિંક gmail માં પ્રાપ્ત થાય અને ત્યાંથી 7 દિવસની અંદર આ પરીક્ષા આપી દેવાની રહે છે. પરીક્ષા શરુ કર્યા બાદ ત્રણ કલાકમાં 35 પ્રશ્નોના જવાબ આપવાના રહે. પરીક્ષા દરમિયાન મોનીટરીંગ માટે વેબકેમ હોવો ફરજીયાત છે.

Google Certified Educator પરીક્ષા શા માટે આપવી?

* એક શિક્ષક તરીકે જો તમે Google Tools નો ઉપયોગ કરતા હોવ તો આ સર્ટિફિકેટ દ્વારા તમારી સ્કિલ અને સક્ષમતાની ખાતરી કરી શકો

* આ એવી પરીક્ષા છે જે ની તૈયારી કરતી વખતે જ નહિ પણ તે આપતી વખતે પણ ઘણું નવું શીખવા મળે છે

* વર્તમાન સમયમાં શિક્ષણમાં ટેક્નોલોજીનો ઉપયોગ અને જરૂરિયાત વધી રહી છે, ત્યારે તમે આ સર્ટિફિકેટથી નોકરી માટેના ઇન્ટરવ્યૂમાં તમારી ખાસિયત દર્શાવી શકો

* આ પરીક્ષાની તૈયારી તમને Google Tools વિશે બીજી ઘણી નવી માહિતી આપશે

* ભલે આ સર્ટિફિકેટ કંઈ કામનું નથી પરંતુ તમે તમારી ટેક્નોલોજી સ્કિલમાં માનતા હોવ અને આ પ્રકારની પ્રવૃત્તિ માટે મહત્વકાંક્ષી હોવ તો આવા નવતર અનુભવો મેળવવા જોઈએ.

                     ભારતમાં હજુ આ પરીક્ષાનું ખાસ કંઈ ચલણ કે મહત્વ નથી પરંતુ અમુક દેશોમાં આ પરીક્ષા જોબ અથવા ઈન-સર્વિસ તાલીમનો ભાગ ગણવામાં આવે છે અને અમુક સંસ્થાઓમાં તો આ પ્રકારની પરીક્ષા પાસ કરનારને ગુગલ ટુલ્સ ટ્રેઈનર તરીકે નોકરી પણ આપવામાં આવતી હોય છે. Google ની સેવાઓ ઓનલાઇન પ્રવૃત્તિઓનો એક ભાગ બની રહી છે ત્યારે શિક્ષકો અને વિદ્યાર્થીમાં Google Tools સ્કિલ કેળવાય એ ખુબ જરૂરી છે. આ પ્રકારની તાલીમ અને પરીક્ષાઓ કૌશલ્ય આધારિત લાયકાતના વિચારને વેગ આપે છે.
